• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'm assuming we can all let it all hang out here ...

I'm awaiting a background check. I have no criminal record but am paranoid about my missed payments lately. They said they aren't really worried about that but ... This job is my last hope. I could barely hold it together to interview. They really are nice people. I've only applied 200 places. God I see myself on zoom and want to throw up.

Any way, I've done online chat, called hotlines ... I know people are trying to be kind and donate their time but they are no help! What do you have to do? Cut your wrists and walk into an emergency room? If I had the guts to do that I would be set.

I am so nuts I would think I would be eligible for disability. By the time I received it is have been long past needing it. God I feel like a weak pathetic creature. Especially after talking to people on the hotline.

I've never talked to people on the hotlines before. What do they say, the same scripted answers? Like, "Do some deep breathing, go for a walk, try yoga." That kind of thing? This world is tough, and I'm done with it.

They told me to see my doctor. No doctor. No insurance. They told me I didn't have the coping skills to deal with this alone.

I wanted to thank them for telling me what I already knew. Thanks for listening Judy. If you want to tell me your story, I'm here.

I hope you can get the job, good on you for putting yourself out there and forging through so many applications, I'm sure it was hard and took a lot of effort.

I wish I knew. And I also wish I had the ability to show my suffering to the world in some way to see if there's any help or not. But my cuts will all be hidden or internal. It can really hurt trying to keep going in this world under such pain.

I'm sorry you've suffered so much and I hope you can get the job. Best wishes whatever you decide to do.

Payments or debt won't be an issue on a background check. Do not worry!

Not sure what the job you applied for is but a background check only shows so much. It doesn't have access to info about your financial status. It's not relevant.

You ate so kind. I'm sorry you're suffering too. I know everyone's situation is different but I hope 3very9ne here is helped by this site by blowing off steam and not feeling alone. I hope everyone keeps trying.

Thank you kind, rational one. I know I'm being crazy. I've called their hotline 20 times over the weekend. Its 90 percent done.

I cannot personally see how a hotline would ever be helpful. Talking to a stranger would not reduce suffering and would not solve any problems. I wish you the best in whatever happens.
