Nitrites, reuse, and waste.

If you read my last thread you know I was unsuccessful last night. My final task was to drink the sn but I fell asleep. Anyway, I had some spit up nitrite in a bucket, added an amount of water, and used an aquarium test. still very very potent. This shows that sn is highly stable even in an unsealed solution exposed to oxygen and light. For this reason id like to ask people with access to carefully consider what you do and do not discard and to keep any and all solutions stored safely until you drink or decide to give it up. I poured my two glasses into one sealed container thats now in a box in the dark. Sn should be fine for reuse if you dont use the first time like I did. Dont make more solution than needed ever.

It was the benadryl fot sure. I waited probably thirty minutes after taking it. Everything was blurry and I started hearing benadryl demons. I actually had the weirdest fucking sleep I ever did. It was like meditation but inside of a time-skip. That and high SI. Benadryl helped with SI a lot admittedly but I still remember holding my glass and thinking about it in like a very removed kind of way? Anyways. Benadryl works for this. The sleep is like a half consciousness sleep though. But with sn it should lead to faster unconscious. I think im gonna try again tonight though.

It says "Nitrite solutions: Nitrite is much less stable than nitrate due to its susceptibility to oxidation. Stock solutions should be kept under refrigeration.[2] It is often recommended to prepare working solutions fresh as required.[2][5] However, some studies have shown that nitrite standards prepared with ultrapure water and stored at 5°C can be stable for up to a year.[6].

This is for chemistry where high purity is required. Also look at the table that source provides, it says you really should always make a new sodium nitrite solution.

I understand Oxidation and light can degrade, however this is chemically veey slow and the amount of Oxidation and light degradation should be overall insignificant, the test i did using the spit up sn that sat out in the bucket shows this as it still measured a very exceptionally high concentration of 10+ppm. Thank you for the info but im confident my solution is still plenty usable. Besides, the question isnt "will it degrade" but "how much how fast"
