Venting Never Will Understand

I have let people who were abusive toward me in my life. Told myself they loved me. Come to find out, they would kill me if they could. Dispose of me when they was done. Told myself they loved me.
They never loved me.

Not just romantically. Platonically...Filially...
Hurts to admit. Wish I knew what love felt like. Wouldn't know if it stared me right in the face.

Thanks for sharing @CalmStrikeofMercy. You haven't let anyone abuse you. You may have opened yourself up to love and been let down, but you are certainly not to blame for being abused and for love not being reciprocated. If the intention was to love and be loved, you are not at fault and have been manipulated.
