Hi, earlier this week I asked for friends..

I met this one guy on here and everything seemed all good and well.

Until earlier this morning He asked me if I had the chance to be able to painlessly and quickly ctb would I take the opportunity.

I said no, I told him I didn't think I would just because I wanted to make sure my family was financially secure beforehand. (My mom is a single mother and we are lower middle class) i personally don't want to ctb and leave my mom with financial worries.

I decided to stop answering his messages cause i was busy at work and didn't want to get into an argument.

He texted me later saying that he didn't think I would ctb, and I simply told him that I didn't want to continue talking to him because I felt as I wasn't being taken seriously and my feelings were being diminished.

Because I said that he threw a tantrum and proceeded to say

It is unfortunate, and it also describes this guy to a tee. He gets even a bit upset with a girl, and suddenly he becomes angry, and suddenly his anger has nothing to do with what they were talking about, but is all about how women in general have it better.

It's almost a form of narcissism, which is why incel rage can seem so random and out of place. Every perceived slight from a woman (such as: not responding or behaving how he wants) becomes a reminder about how women have hurt him with repeated rejection (regardless of whether or not there were valid reasons for this). Anger is about women being cruel and victimizing him, rather than an opportunity for self-reflection, because the concept that he may have done something that pushes them away (such as what he said to OP) is too painful.

Femcel is a term for the same condition in women. I think we see it used a bit less often because many women grow up with the strict expectation that rage in internalized and never expressed.

None of us have an obligation to tolerate, baby, or play therapist to try and help people who lash out like this. In the first days when I became a member on this forum I befriended a woman. She was few years older than me. We became very good friends. She behaved like my mother/older sister (she was much better and caring than my cold heartless mother). She really cared for my wellbeing, sadly she ctb in December 2025. I miss her greatly. i think what a lot of people fail to grasp is that a lot of people won't want to sleep with you if they find you unpleasant or cruel.

it's almost never because you are ugly. one of my buddies is an objectively ugly man, and he's never understood the ugly argument because women sleep with him despite the fact that he's a greasy down-dog poor-as-fuck fat man.

he's a super cool dude and pleasant to be around. it's a harder pill to swallow that you make people not want to be around you for reasons that aren't your appearance -reasons you have control over.
