My date of ctb is soon but I'm kind of scared because what if hell is real and I get punished forever for ending myself and then I won't be able to undo it

Life and death are full of endless possibilities and what-ifs. To be scared is to be human. You do not have to do anything if you are not ready yet. If your fear gives you reason then it is okay to stay and see what life has to offer. Nothing is final until it is.

No I'm ready but it's just the thought of hell that makes me nervous but I'm willing to take that risk

I agree with @TheHolySword. I'll also add maybe you should take the time to pray or meditate with your God/Creater and ask for guidance. Maybe you aren't looking for death but peace and comfort with your Divine. You mentioned Hell so I am guessing you have some Christian/Catholic background.

The only hell I believe in is this horrific world where there is all this endless cruelty and suffering, personally I just believe death to be nothingness where all is finally gone, to permanently cease existing is all I hope for. But anyway I wish you the best.

I don't believe in a god , I'm atheist but it's just the fact that there's a possibility that it could exist is what makes me nervous

🤷‍♀️ Still no harm in praying/mediating. Even for atheist. The worst thing what will happen is to literally nothing. 🤷‍♀️

Putting my two cents out here. Imo hell and heaven aren't real. They're just inventions of lesser people to control the masses. In my honest opinion there's nothing after death. The concept of nothingness is pretty much impossible to wrap your head around so don't even try. The question you need to ask yourself is whether the hell of your current life is preferable to a hell that's only speculated to exist

I agree with most of this. I don't agree with how the concept of nothingness is impossible to wrap our heads around though. I understand the concept of nothingness quite well.

Also, yeah, I personally think that heaven and hell are just human made inventions but I also acknowledge at how difficult it is for somebody to see it in this way after being indoctrinated throughout one's childhood to believe in heaven and hell. The concept of hell quickly collapses once you see it objectively and realise that it can't be something that's designed by a god but rather by humans

The Bible doesn't actually say anything about suicide. People are stringing together interpretations of different pieces to argue that commiting suicide is a sin that condemns one to hell.

People tend to believe suicide is a sin based on the Biblical statement that murder is sin, and they equate suicide to self-murder. I'm not sure I buy that because it's different to take a life against someone's will. I would claim that euthanasia and suicide both fall into a different category than murder because in those cases the person wants to die.

Even if you believe that suicide is a sin, it's still a huge leap to say someone is necessarily condemned to hell for it, because sins can be forgiven. Some people claim that suicide is a special sin that can't be forgiven, I won't get into that argument here but it sounds convoluted to me. I'm more inclined to believe that God (if He exists) would be loving and merciful to people who's suffering was so great that they chose to commit suicide in order to escape the pain.
