Need advice

I have a joint account with my mother. She can't take any of the money after I'm dead. I'm on SSI and owe them money. I assume she could get into legal trouble if she touched my money.

I can't send a text because I plan to die in a hotel room. She would trace my phone and could fuck it all up. I can't send a letter beforehand in case my method falls through. I don't know what to do.

She would be alerted of my death by the police. I would have her name and number written on an index card I would place in my pocket.

Why not have the letter with you in the hotel room? The police will read it first but then your mother will get it (or at least a copy of it).
Have you written a will? If not, & if your mother is your next of kin, she will get your money anyway.

edit: I missed the bit about owing to SSI - if your mother took the money before they are paid what you owe then they would be able to challenge her for it.

There are a couple of ways you could use a bike courier, pay cash and either go into the company or book online on a Friday afternoon for a Monday 13.00 delivery and tell them you may need to make changes to this document so make sure you have a contact telephone number to call to cancel it or have your number on the envelope with instruction you must be called before delivery takes place.

In the UK we have mini cab offices where you can go and in ask them to deliver this letter on this date and time make sure you clearly say to them write on the letter not to be delivered before this date and time, if you fail just go in and apologize and say you need to make changes, or like above call you before delivery.
