• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Part2 - Things escalated out of nowhere
On Friday afternoon I was standing on the balcony having a smoke, then all of the sudden two cops are standing directly next to me.
As I looked through the balcony window two more cops were standing in the front-room, so that's four lol.
Another psychiatrist appeared and said they would have to take me into psych-ward for evaluation under the mental health act paragraph 8 in Austria.
They took me in an ambulance and made me do an alcohol test because I was drinking a few beers.
The Oberarzt basically forced me to stay the night.
I was asked if they could do a blood test, I refused and they didn't do it.

The interesting bit is that neither the police, Dr's or nurses touched upon the actual content of the note, that being 'modern day Stasi- terror'.
They completely ignored the most 'juicy' parts of the note and were just concerned with the "I am going to kill myself" bit.
Something else that was interesting was the next morning for evaluation with the Dr had said that blood levels indicated I had been drinking too much for years.
They did not take a blood sample but he was right!

I was free to go.
Had nice walk in the sun into town went to the next best bar sat outside and had some beers.

I guess those are the perks of living with a Stasi mom.

Police do tend to spawn out of nowhere when you have a 4-star Wanted level. Be careful.

If you are truly interested in how the former Stasi operated, I recommend reading this:

If you are interested in how the modern day version works, I recommend these two sources:

Most of the readers won't be interested at all. You're just "some nutcase" to them. The point is reaching the few who are interested and who are able and willing to do something with the information.

Yes, the "nutcase" narrative is certainly apart of it, but there is also the cynical indifference approach and the self-preserving fear factor.
