Just been browsing the forum before heading to bed and I hear banging on my door, the police are here for a welfare check.

Quickly close out of the forum and I'm panicking thinking my sn had been stopped at customs and reported to the police and I'm screwed.

Nope wrong address they wanted my neighbor... FML it's probably going to be a few hours before I get to bed now.

I was debating that right up to them shouting stop pretending to be asleep I thought they must of heard me but now I'm calmed down I remembered how soundproof my door is.

Probably for the best I opened it or I may have lost my front door if they kicked it in thinking my neighbor had done something and was unresponsive.

police need to follow some rules and regulations in any country and it is not an easy job for them to get permission for searching people,s house unless there's something very serious . Most of the time they abuse the people 's fear of police . I have no fear from them. i don't also see any reason to respect them . Simply i don't let them come in unless they can prove that they have legal permissions

I just looked it up since I was curious and they can enter without a warrant in the UK in some circumstances
