My dad is building an extension next to our familys house and I asked him if he can make the walls soundproof so that no noise can be heard from inside or outside. He says that he should be done with building it in about 6 months and that when he is done I can live in it and I can have all of my stuff there with a bed and mini fridge , a table etc. I think that if I am still alive in 6 months I will probably rot in that extension for a while , it is preferable to my current room inside the house. In there I could cry or shout really loudly and I would have complete privacy and my own space and my own stuff.
