So I absolutely love my life. My husband, my friends, everything. I had some mild struggles with anxiety and my doctor said I should try an antidepressant. Well this ruined my life. It made it so I couldn't sleep for 2 days and I developed sleep anxiety. Or what now is chronic insomnia. I only sleep 3 hours most nights no matter what sleeping pills I take. On days when I have something 'important' it is zero sleep. I can't live like this anymore.

I have zopiderm, seroquel, mirtazapine, benzos, propanalol, belsomera and then there is also my husbands blood pressure medication. What are my chances of dying if I just take all of these? I can't face too many more sleepless nights to try and find SN or set up nitrogen.
Also have a full box of opiates

The problem should eventually correct itself with a little help. Suicide should be the last option you consider, not the first. I'd look at the most basic things like nutrition, physical activity, and fresh air. Next, I'd try meditation, yoga, lymphatic massage, acupuncture, reiki, homeopathy, and hypnotherapy. When you're ready, replace the sleeping pills with magnesium supplements and melatonin. There's no reason to end your otherwise happy life over a temporary problem that should be solvable with time, patience, and dedication ❤️‍🩹.

I don't know why you're recommending yoga and acupuncture in the suicide forum but alright..

None of these medications, alone or in combination, would be effective in this context. You will just fall asleep. If you take enough of them you might get ill, suffer a lot, and end up in the hospital.

What opiates & benzos do you have? What dosage? How many of each?

Have you tried a different antidepressant? Many people need to try more than one before they find something that works. Mine gave me (worse) insomnia as well.

Yo answer your question, none of those medications will kill you. Prescription ODs are very unpredictable and rarely end in death. I would honestly look into switching your meds instead of attempting to OD.

Because as they stated, they love their life and everyone in it. They only have one problem that they don't want to live with, and that problem should be entirely solvable, that's why.

I don't want to touch another antidepressant ever again. I slept like a baby before trying this one. It was like a switch flicked in my brain.

I agree with the replies saying ODs are rarely successful, and also miserable.

On top of that, antidepressants are known to (ironically) cause suicidal thoughts as a side effect when first starting them. However, if it's unbearable like this, please tell your doctor and get off them.

Maybe if you're comfortable later in life you can try a different antidepressant, there are many options.

you should discuss with your doctor to stop this medication, you will experience withdrawal symptoms for the first few weeks then everything will return to normal , antidepressants are well known to cause insomnia and suicidal ideation so you're better off without them
