My boss didn't believe me

I fucked up my job because I experienced something emotionally traumatic, and when I shared what happened to me with my boss, he didn't believe me. I was literally crying just retelling it and he didn't believe me. Without giving away too many details, it's related to my family and the religion I left.

I knew that most people wouldn't understand where I came from. But I didn't know that people wouldn't believe. I'm already in a dark place.

Pls know tht 1 person not every1. Were unlucky that person made self vulnerable 2 ws sm1 like ur boss. Ur boss reaction reflect on who ur boss is & not reflect on u. Ppl on forum will believe u and other ppl in real life will believe u. Sound like bad & unsupportive boss.

Yes he's in the religion. But my workplace isn't religious and my coworkers have their own religions.
