Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas on ways to motivate yourself to get things done- I'm talking quite 'normal' things like tidying bits up, cleaning the house, things like that.
I've been working through the guilt that deciding to ctb have caused and one of the ways I want to do that it to get as much done as possible before I go so that those around me will have less to worry about once I'm gone.
Last week I made a good start on everything but today I'm just sat in bed unable to get myself moving at all.
Any ideas? Maybe videos that help you get going or cleaning rituals?
I don't know, I just need help to get going please!

I have the same issues myself but I've found that two techniques generally work on getting myself to do stuff:

a. Motivating myself with a reward for finishing a portion of what I'm supposed to get done.
b. Connecting what I'm doing with my values. For example, if it's important for me to see myself as trustworthy or responsible then my actions should align.

Sometimes it's harder to do than other times and it doesn't always work. If I'm genuinely resistant, then I'll try to figure out what's stopping me, or give myself some kind of a rest or a reset, and try again.

Thank you for your reply.
I'm going to use the first one for sure! Was about to sit and play some games but will see that as a reward once I get some bits done.
I feel like that is something I've used before but my brain is a lityle frazzled at the moment

I have added this to my notes app on my phone and am giving myself one task daily. I'm easily overwhelmed so this works for me. The task(s) can be anything from phone the Dr to request meds to put away the mugs from the dishwasher. When I tick off what I completely, it really satisfies me. SS Weekly Challenge Thread

I also buy tiny chocolates and give myself one when I do a task. I find rewarding myself with something sweet helps motivate me. I still haven't done everything I wanted to do this weekend but I'm further forward than last week. Celebrate the small wins, you deserve it.

So much this. I LOVE checking things off of a list so I will put a whole day's worth of tasks in an app or even a scrap of paper just to cross them off.

The other motivation for me is knowing if I do not do something today, the same task will still be there tomorrow but even worse. I would rather repeat a chore for 5 minutes/day than save it and have to do the work in a big chunk at the end of the week, if that makes sense.

I do put things in lists/apps but am very good at forgetting they're there!

Wow! I wish I had this enthusiasm over crossing things off a list
