Mother coming to visit me in hospital

Because my mom can't drive and lives in the other side of the city, she hasn't been able to visit me in the mental hospital yet.

Today she is gonna take a taxi and bring me some of my stuff.

She still doesn't know why the cops dragged me to the hospital.

I decided when she comes I will tell her that the truth. That it was because I ordered something poisonous online for self-harm

I'm afraid to see her reaction but she was so emotional on the phone and told that neither she and my dad could sleep. I least owe her at least the
truth

They put you in the hospital just for ordering? I may have missed another post explaining it. It wasn't for an attempt to CTB, but just for having in possession the substance. Or even just for ordering it?

I never received the SN because it was confiscated. But they still put me in the hospital .

That's really noble of you to tell her the truth. I'm so sorry that disaster with SN happened. I hope your stay at the hospital is at least tolerable.

Update told mom the truth and she was flabbergasted. Because "why would you be suicidal we give you everything , we don't charge you rent , you don't do anything around the house"

I told her that made me feel bad for having these feelings. She agreed to drop it and she hug me.

I'm so sorry for your mom's reaction, wishing you well going forward otherwise and hopefully, if that conversation does get revisited, she's able to to at least understand
