In the 1950s if a demagogue wanted to Garner media attention then the words communist or "commie" were thrown at someone's name. In the 1980s "gay" or "queer" replaced those visceral statements and today we have pedophiles or incels. Since "murderer" is a definition that requires a specific cause, if the @kelli @fixthe26 wants to attack a broad group all she and the other Karen's have to do is to attack the forum as being "full of pedophiles". She doesn't even have to find pedophile literature on the sanctioned suicide site. 4-5 percent of the population is estimated to be pedophiles
Pedophilia is terrible, horrible, baseless and the lowest of behaviors ever and even I, a pacifist and emotion caring person have a violent hatred for one who would harm a child in any way let alone the horror of child sexual assault. I have even a guy wrenching feeling of not wanting to follow the rules of law in delaying with these criminals.
But if you have no valid arguments of your own, can not have the intellectual debate to actually argue a point such as why a suicide forum should or should not exist in the face of millions of people with deep depression for whom conventional therapy has not worked, you resort to the same McCarthy -esque tactics used by bullies from ancient rome to Germany to today. Call the forum a bunch of pedophiles and throw up links to pedophile sites.
It's the Hallmark of a person losing an argument or debate that they refuse to engage a point and begin to shift the attacks to the individual or their character.
Since I am a private citizen, you operate a non profit, I'm hopeful you will threaten me by calling me a pedophile or an incel. I am neither, I am a hurting individual who also lost a child to suicide whom who bullied off your twitter feed and I fight for this forum because of it. If you characterize me as something I am not that is defamatory I will sue your nonprofit entity and hope that it is bankrupted with the donations that have been provided.
Why not engage in the legitimate arguments of why so many people are hurting and why mental health tools and systems are so draconian?
You don't see me attacking the insurance companies as being "corrupt capitalists who want patients to die and are guilty of murder" just to get their attention. I actually look up statistics and try to fight for what is right
