• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I made the mistake telling people and my girlfriend about my thoughts. There are now not letting me alone and try to find anything that could explain it.
I just want to be let alone. Mistake made...

If we are talking about suicidal thoughts then it wise not to tell anyone about it at all.
People tend to react quite aggressive to that and would do unpredictable stuff in order to save you thinking they are doing everything "right" in their opinion.

It's honestly not wise to tell anyone anything like this ever. I can't see a situation. Where it can be positive. As a general rule, people would rather you suffered and had a miserable life than see you die to suicide. It's one of the sick ironies of life.

Instead of ruining relationships and friendships over it. Do the act then explain in a letter and they'll move on after time.

I see it as best to keep everything to myself, I would never tell anyone about wanting to ctb personally. I'm sorry that you are in this situation, it must be so awful and stressful. We live in a society where suicide is so stigmatised and many people do not respect the right to die. I wish you the best in whatever happens.

It's good to tell people if you want help. But they will react strongly so be prepared. If you don't want help then yeah just don't tell anyone. It's not a subject taken lightly by most.

The only people you can ever talk to about this are people who feel the same way, they're the only people that ever understand.

I'm sorry that happened to you. I wish people actually offered help instead of just torturing others and making their situation worse. I hate how non-understanding relatives/friends can be. I guess I'll never understand people who have never felt suicidal before.

Try to act normal even if it's hard and they will get bored of it quickly and forget it. Think about all the terrible news; tsunamis, explosions, earthquakes, plane crashes, etc. People will be really shocked for a few days/weeks/months and then often forget it ever happened. (or at least that's how it is in this country)

I've told one person that I want to ctb because I know he understands.
If I told anyone else, I'd be hospitalized and I'm not doing that

I'm in a funny situation. Since I've decided that i'm going to CTB soon, i've been really happy and cheerful, and because of that no one believes me when i say i want to CTB 😂 (of course, i don't just go around telling people about my intentions, i've talked only to the most important ones)
