Meto/Other antiemetics prescription

What exactly should I say to get a dopamine blocking antiemetic prescribed? Like meto. I'm thinking of just fake-vomiting a bunch, faking migraine headaches, and then going to the doctor and telling her my 'symptoms'. She'll buy into it and prescribe me meto or something of the same nature. What else should I say, should I change anything, is there any symptom group that's more ideal, etc..? Can anyone help?

I don't know if legal people can give you advice on obtaining a fake prescription.

All I will say is if they have knowledge of you having poor mental health the often won't prescribe anything that could be use to add an overdose (such as anti-ementic) with out very obvious proof it's needed.

Meto doesn't stop you being sick, just reduces your chances. Also firearms are the most reliable way to CTB statistically.

Have you done enough research into this? Suicide is s big thing and I'm worried you might be acting impulsively!

It certainly does reduce the chances, and I'd imagine pretty significantly, which is what I'm looking for as I really do not want to fail this.
Firearms are the mot reliable, yes, but... If you were to multiply % chance of failing by some number that represented how bad the consequences of failing were, and inverse ranked methods that way, then firearms would be a lot lower than SN or even hanging. I'm pretty sure I'm not acting impulsively, I've been thinking about this for a while now. At least thanks for giving me the heads up on that medical history thing, maybe now I won't show a surprised face at the doc when she prescribes me something else.

Their info is stuff that people PM each other around here. I personally don't know any, but you should ask around, start your own thread about it, check the megathread, etc to find out. I don't know about any other alternatives, but I hope this helped at least a little.
Also, I don't know whether or not this is to be taken seriously but... You could always try duct tape. Physiologically it would work, since you can't get it out. You'd just have to be resilient enough to swallow it back down.....

Yeah, it is a bit of a leap, but I decided on that one before I knew about SN and it would be less traumatic for whoever found me afterwards, so there is also that. I can do those things you are suggesting (except for the duct tape... too nasty...) I would still like to find some alternatives though, even if that means getting a strong enough rope to go with the old idea, which I have already put a lot more thought into anyway, but that might require more motivation, I'm not sure.

Here is my detailed advice on faking migraines. Note that it is harder to fool a doctor than a pharmacist, for the reasons I explain there. If your doctor is particularly observant and cautioous, you may want to fake having had migraines very recently (and being worried they will happen again), but not fake having one at the time you are actually in front of the doctor.

You could just ask. Be honest. Sometimes the best approach. I went to a Doctor last week and asked for a prescription for Meta because I was having nausea and 5 minutes later walked out with a script without any questions asked.

I got the prescription fairly easily. I just told the doctor that I was very nauseous and experiencing headaches. Tried things like gravol and other OTC meds that did nothing. Said I had a friend who was dealing with the same thing and she let me try her meto. It worked and now I want my own prescription for emergencies or when it gets bad.

She gave it to me. I tried getting benzos but failed and have to try again with another doctor. You shouldn't have much of an issue with obtaining meto though, it's the sedatives that they worry about.

The easiest way to get them to prescribe something specific is to say you are visiting from out of town and ran out of your metocloperamide or whatever it is you want. You could say you take it for migraine-associated nausea.

I said that I had recently been to a Dr and asked for Meto because I was nauseus and was given a prescription straight away. This is why I suggested that perhaps honesty was best course of action. There were several people coming up with all sorts of wild explanations, which immediately makes Drs wary.

Most doctors are pretty good at spotting "fake migraines" . It is one of the several clinical manifestations that Drug Seekers present with to clinics every day but something that we are trained to look for and identify. Drug Seekers will read up about migraines and then typically present with text book book symptoms eg clutching your forehead in pain and averting your eyes away from the light because its so bothersome, being sensitive to noise etc etc

I don't know abt other countries but in India its very easy to create fake prescriptions. A friend of mine managed to print duplicate blank letterheads of a doctor with fake name and address etc. He was addicted to painkiller medicines and stuff which he would obtain using the fake letter heads. I must confess he would also give me my dose of sleeping pills, cough syrup when I needed .
So I guess I can get meto similarly when the time is right.
Edit: I know its illegal and am not suggesting this method to anyone.

I was searching for information about sertraline in the FAQ and stumbled on this.
it only caught my attention bcuz of this thread. The use of the word honest or truth.
It's implied to mean go in confidently knowing what you're going to say so you get the right meds. Don't "fake" too much or you risk sounding like a junkie seeking drugs, if you say too much you will raise suspicions. Know what to say and describe to sound convincing..... so that it appears "honest" or "truthful" or "sincere".

I think you should give it a try to get Meto through a Dr. I think its a better option than the scams you are looking at. Yes Drs are good at spotting fakes which is why i have always said to people that if you can be as honest as possible about what you present with then thats good. Now, obviously by telling you to be as honest as possible with the Dr, you didnt think for a minute that I was saying that you should tell your Dr that you need the Meto because you are about to commit suicide using Sodium Nitrite etc etc ? Most people get elaborate or come up with fake migraines which are too easy too spot for most Drs. Meto is a medication typically given to treat & prevent nausea so if you present to the Dr with that symptom then its going to be more believable for a start.
Now the first mistake people make is to go to Wikipedia and start looking for symptoms, so that they know what to present with when they walk into the Drs office. So if you turn to Wikipedia and search for Nausea it says:
Nausea Symptoms
Nausea is an unpleasant although usually painless symptom. The most common symptom that occurs with nausea is vomiting. Symptoms that are also associated with nausea include dizziness, faintness, dry mouth, diarrhea, fever, abdominal pain, and decreased urination.
The second mistake is to take notice of any of the information above and walk into the clinic grabbing your stomach and wincing in pain or stumbling into furniture because you are so dizzy. Nausea is often just an overwhelming feeling of sickness in your stomach, with very few of the accompanying symptoms mentioned in Wikipedia. So dont overdo it. When I went to my Dr last week I went with the same symptom, Nausea and I said that I would like a script for Metoclopramide as that was something I had used in the past for nausea which has been very effective for me. Five minutes later I walked out with a script. He asked me a couple of questions regarding my appetite, had I been eating or had i felt like eating. When did the nausea start, had I thrown up at all. I told the Dr that i woke up one morning and started feeling quite sick in my stomach, that i didnt eat that morning but tried eating something small later in the day with a very small meal for dinner. I went to bed early that night as I still didnt feel myself. The next day when i woke up I still felt very under the weather, again felt very nauseous in my stomach. I didnt feel like i could eat food, I knew that it was important to keep my fluids up so thats what i tried to concentrate on. As the day went on I began to feel quite light headed , no energy and the nausea in my stomach was becoming increasing worse and thats when i decided i needed to see a Dr. I think if you follow along the lines of something like that you cant go wrong. Hopefully thats been of some help?

These passive-aggressive snipes at me are getting really tiring. You really need to let go of whatever resentment you are harboring. Frankly, it feels like you are a little fixated on me for no logical reason whatsoever. If you redirected your efforts from this vindictiveness into actually responding to still outstanding questions from myself and other members, you wouldn't seem so evasive or illogical in the first place.

No need to fake symptoms and all that.

Just tell the doc that you've got bad nausea and chances are you'll be prescribed with metoclopramide/domperidone/dihpenhydramine and maybe some anti gastric medications like omeprazole etc.

I'm not sure how medicine is practiced elsewhere..

Is it a vet that regularly sees your pet? Or did you walk in and ask for a prescription and walk out?
