I can't handle chronic pain anymore. It's killing me day after day, but unfortunately I'm still here.
I'm less suicidal when I feel less pain so I'd like to try some drugs. My former doctor gave me Fentanyl but I had side effects.
May I ask you what medication are you taking if you struggle with chronic pain ? And does it help you ? Side effects ?
My disease is called cervical dystonia but I feel pain in all my body and now. And muscular spasms are awful. It's like torture. Now I have a new problem with my jaw. If things don't improve, I may CTB sooner than expected. I'm completely lost.

Thanks. In a perfect world, I'd like to escape from my body without dying but of course it's not possible. That's why most people are suicidal.
I will never understand how we can send robots to Mars and all this amazing technology but we are not able to find therapies for sick people...

Because huge pharmaceutical companies make money off of our misery. I really feel your pain. I also suffer from chronic osteoarthritis and tendonosis hence why I am on this site too.

I've been in this place too, the place where you would try ANYTHING to ease the pain, but I haven't find any solutions.

I've tried some opioids but they are not suitable for headaches. But even if they work for you, you will have the problem of tolerance as years pass by.

The only thing I've found I get relief from, is Ketamine, but I don't think it's a solution in the long term. At the end of the day it's anesthesia and you get drowsy, so is not you are going to be able to work all day and function like a normal person. But at least it brings some relief while staying at home.

When I get some, I tend to abuse it to get high tho, so everything ends in some weeks of happyness, and when the bag is over, back to the hole of pain and saving money for the next xD.

If you manage to take very little amounts (to ease the pain u need a small dose) maybe it could work for you...but keep in mind that the same as opioids, you will develop tolerance.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I take valium at low doses because I don't want to be addict. Living in chronic pain is not an option and being addict with all its consequences is not an option neither. I must think as an adult now and take my responsabilities, which means CTB, but my SI is so strong and I procrastinate since I was born. But my SN protocol is ready. The most important decision of my life. Tsunami for my family but freedom for me (I hope so because I believe in karma and reincarnation). But my brain, my mind and my body are so sick. Every night I pray God for being delivered from all this shit (death in my sleep or a miracle and start a new life).

P.S. : do you buy ketamine on streets or darknet or does a doctor prescribe it to you ? I may be interested if it can give some relief

I buy in the streets. Theres plenty in the darknets too.

Theres something called Ketamine infusion that its working for some types of pain. The treatments are expensive tho, and not available in all countries.

I'm so sorry you suffer from cervical dystonia.

Do you know about amitriptyline? I have chronic pain, and amitriptyline has helped quite a bit.

Unfortunately they won't accept me. In the past, I was in a clinic specialized in chronic pain and they send me back home with no treatment. They told me to see a psychiatrist. So doctors are not my friends and I'm tired with not being taken seriously. It's unfortunately common here in France. French people are arrogant (I confirm this idea) and doctors even more... Of course it's not a generality but it's generally true.

I took amitriptyline (Laroxyl) several years ago but I should ask my doctor if he can prescribe it again. Thanks for the tip 👍 Before having cervical dystonia, I already had chronic pain, so I took Laroxyl and cortisone. I've tried so many meds in my life that I forgot these meds. I don't remember why I stopped these meds. Maybe because of side effects. i don't remember. I just saw on internet that amitriptyline can cause suicidal thoughts. I hope it' not a side effect for you. i have a low tolerance on meds so I often have side effects, that's why it's complicated for me to get a treatment.

You're welcome. Yeah, you start losing track after trying so many. No, I was suicidal well before the amitriptyline. It didn't make it worse, but every person is different. It's good that you are cautious about that. My body also often reacts badly to medication. It sucks. I've learned over the years that it takes my body around 4 to 6 weeks to adjust to a change in medication. No matter how small the change, it's the same every time.

Hope you can one day find some relief for your pain. Living with unbearable pain is excruciating. You would think there would be more options for people with chronic pain, but there are surprisingly few options.

I was amitriptyline for about 4 years for my insomnia and joint pain and it helped for a while until I became tolerant to it so I started drinking alcohol with it. It fucked my brain more and gave me memory loss. Now I'm more fucked up, suicidal and still in pain and insomnia even worse than ever . Hardly ever sleep more than 5 hours a night. Feel like shit everyday . Mental and physical pain. Theres no magic pill unfortunately

I'm so sorry to read that. That sounds awful.

Hope I never develop a tolerance 😳

Unfortunately, there is indeed no magic pill.

What I did notice with my pain problems is that caffeine makes it worse. All my senses sharpen when I drink caffeine, so my pain got worse. It's insane that such a simple thing, which almost everyone drinks, is so bad for pain. But I've also known people who say that caffeine makes the pain less. Everyone's body reacts differently.
