Maybe its a sign

My girlfriend always tells me maybe it's a sign whenever I explain how can i keep trying to kill myself over and over and still be here why can't I just die
She always says I should take it sign, but if anything I take it as a sign that I'm supposed to suffer for longer before I die
Surely if I was getting a sign that I shouldn't die I would actually finally get a break and have some peace and life would get easier for me then I would stop trying to kill myself
Surely that's a sign you should be alive, when or if you finally get to be happy

I'm sorry that you have been through failed attempts. It's unfair how dying is this hard. We have all already suffered enough in life without having to struggle in the process of trying to leave. I wish you relief from what you are going through.

Very well worded. a sign from who, god? A spiritual sign? Regardless I believe you are right. A "sign" should be something you can feel, something like you said, finally feeling happiness and not want to die. I pray to god each night for such a sign but I think it falls on deaf ears. I'm also sorry about your failed attempts and I'm glad you have a girlfriend.
