Any thoughts on how to make it look like a covid death? I don't want others knowing it was intentional. I know not all bodies are tested for covid and many deaths are presumed covid deaths. How might I make it look like a covid death?

I would imagine the number of presumed but unconfirmed Covid deaths is quite low, and comprised mainly of obvious and severe cases. If an autopsy is performed there's no chance, since a primary objective of the procedure is to determine cause of death. I'd imagine that any suicide is going to occur under suspicious enough circumstances to warrant ordering an autopsy, but I'd imagine something that shuts off the respiratory system (I'm planning on opiate overdose for myself) may be believable if the subject could commit to a very convincing ruse of feeling ill a few days prior. Still, though - any inkling that it *wasn't* Covid could lead to an autopsy - if for no other reason than confirming that "foul play" wasn't involved.

All that said though, this is just my conjecture - I'm not a first responder, coroner or medical professional.

This actually happened with a friend's uncle of mine, this situation is somewhat common here in India and actually happens.

On the bright (cynical) side, if you're in North America and die these days, there's a good chance they'll list you as a COVID death anyways, truthful or not.

takes more than that to get put on a ventilator and they're doing it a lot less because of what they've dubbed happy hypoxia

But seriously, like others have said an autopsy would rule it out. And depending on the method you chose there would likely always be evidence pointing towards suicide.

i mean if you look like you had covid theyre not likely running tests. waste of a test. if it's suspicious then yeah they'll investigate. but a lot of people are being listed as having covid like symptoms

of course they dont say every death is covid but do i believe you can replicate enough particularly in a place where tests are scarce to fake it. yes. not easy. takes real knowledge of covid's effects on body

I was not being sarcastic. I don't deny Covid-19's existence but the hospitals are financially incentivized to diagnose "Covid-19" and put people on ventilators even when it isn't necessary because they rake in even more money. You think they care about saving lives? Doctors are in it for the $$$, not to help people.

Not true. I am a doctor myself and have been working the last three months at the Covid urgency department of my hospital. The least we want is intubate, because the pronostic at that point is almost doomed anyway, the ventilator only lenghts lifespan a couple Days-weeks while there is chance that the body recovers. We truly wish people would stay home until this shit has no one else to infect, so everything is normal again. At least i can return to my external consult service where im at a better mental health and less suicidal.

No you cant. Because covid death related people has findings in their lungs such as moderate-severe compromise in the alveolii space, and you cant simulate that. Other affections such as trombose are as well impossible to emulate and less likely a cause of death if you are young it applies too for cardiac arrest due to ischemia.

I bought a gun this weekend instead. Not sure if the seller is a scammer because it was online, but I guess I'll find out if it doesn't come tomorrow as promised. Far easier to get a gun than substances though. I'm in public health, and one of the states with an explicit murderer and thief as a governor. While I respect cynicism about health care, the response to covid only highlights the hypocrisy and badness of people. I'm not actively following this thread at this point. If the gun is a scam I may be on this site longer.
