Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

i know the typical dose used is ~25g / 33g, but would taking less be possible (?)

my biggest fear is not failing an attempt, or the symptoms of SN/KN poisoning. if i fail i can just try again. the symptoms seen bearable too. my biggest fear is taking the SN/KN, regretting it, and being able to do nothing, as i die anyway.

ive read just about every case report, and there's one where somebody ingests 25g SN, instantly regrets it, and calls 911 immediately. EMS arrives in under 15 minutes, but before they reach the hospital, they're in cardiac arrest, and nothing they do can save them.

i don't want that to happen to me. i know SI is seen as something to be overcome, generally, but i don't want to spend my last moments kicking and screaming and fighting an inevitable death that i don't want. if i change my mind then it's a huge inconvenience but it's better than dying when i don't want to.

so onto the main topic, is it possible to just take a (much) lower dosage of SN/KN (?)

25g is the standard for SN, yet there's many reports of people dying with <5g doses, or very barely surviving with intensive medical care. there's even a case report of death after a 1g dose. so you shouldn't need 25g. and less poison will allow for a slower death, and more of a chance to turn back.

im considering just trying 5 grams of potassium nitrite, in pills. i feel like if 1-2 grams SN can be lethal then that's more than enough of a margin for error. pills would also allow for slower absorption, so again, more time to turn back.

im just scared im making a mistake. i don't know if i want to die i just know i don't want to live. and this is my last hope so I want it to go right. ive tried before with a potassium nitrite solution but it tasted bad and I couldn't get it down. i don't want to be in pain anymore i want this to go away.

please advise

thanks in advance
i guess ill just report back later

I know this isn't what you're trying to hear, but as someone with the same exact fear as you when it comes to SN, it just isn't something you drink without being sure you want to die. You can't go into it with the expectation of getting a second chance to rethink your decision.

You're essentially asking how to dip your toes in-in case you're not ready to fully commit, and if that's what you're after, SN isn't for you. It's highly lethal, even if you throw up, and—as you mentioned—even in amounts far lesser than 25 grams. Why do you think it's so popular on this forum? Because it works, and it works consistently.

Trust me, I truly do feel the same way as you, and it's how I know I'm not fully ready to drink mine yet. I don't have the solution on how to avoid panic after ingesting it, I really don't. There's a chance that even if you feel certain, you'll still panic, and unfortunately I think that just comes with the territory. Death is scary. Practically, the only way to minimize the chances of experiencing last minute panic/anxiety is with benzos, which is why they're recommended in the protocol.

Agree with the above.

The other risk with a smaller dose is that, especially depending on what point you throw up (most people throw up), it may not kill you.

It's imperative at that point you either drink a second cup (very difficult after throwing up), or shove your fingers down your throat to keep throwing up so you can get as much out of your system as possible, which is unpleasant to say the least.

Surviving SN is not fun. I've read reports of people vomiting for days afterwards, unable to eat anything, blowing veins in their faces from the puking.

If you do it properly and with the right dosage, it's fairly peaceful. If you deviate from the established protocol or aren't truly set on CTBing, it won't be fun.

In the SN cases documented on this site the person typically vomits the first 20-25 gram dose within the first five minutes and never even attempts to get the other one down before going unconscious. We can assume a fraction of 25 g's is effective.

The antidote for SN poisoning methylene blue is available as a supplement for oral consumption in a 1% solution at .5 mg per drop.

Per this article, a patient was rescued by being "treated with 1 mg/kg intravenous bolus of methylene blue over 5 minutes." You'd have to do the math based on your body weight plus account for the delayed effect of oral vs IV absorption. Nevertheless, having oral methylene blue could in theory begin to slow or reverse methemoglobinemia long enough to buy a person time until paramedics arrive.

I too have read many SN case reports and am familiar with the one where the person regretted it but it was too late along with the dental assistant that took 1 gram by accident and didn't survive. SN isn't something to be messing around with.

With the way people have posted about doing "taste tests" and practice runs, I can see how having MB on hand has he potential to open up a new can of worms in terms of self harm and risky behavior ending in accidental deaths. Personally I wouldn't want to spend my last moments alive playing the fence on whether or not I even want to take a specific course of action.

When drinking lethal poison you should err on the side of assuming it will kill you even if you have a potential antidote. I second every thing @Mooncry said and recommend NOT playing chemical Russian roulette.

If you're afraid of regretting it, you probably shouldn't purchase and use SN.

You can't take less than 25g, if you still decided to do KTB, there are still many nuances, you need to follow the protocol as closely as possible. Please think everything over carefully before you act.
Good luck to you
