Everyone is just the same, I really don't like generalising and I try my hardest not to do it as I believe seeing the uniqueness in things is important. But almost everyone really is the same. Almost no one can actually think for themselves. 99% of the people I've talked to have some repeated, propagandised opinions. It's like people don't listen to things, they only hear them.

I'm so sick of it. I'm sick of talking to literal brain dead living robots. Living in a society with free thinkers is a fucking pipe dream. Now I'm not putting myself on a pedestal at all. Almost no one is immune to propaganda, including myself. But at least I recognise that it's a problem.

If I were to live my life and not kill myself, I would most definitely live a very isolated life. Spending all of my time with my partner and working as a psychologist.

Posts like this honestly suck. I hate to break it to you, but you probably aren't any more of a "free-thinker" compared to everyone else. Funnily enough, most people have this same exact mentality, where they believe that everyone else around them is brain-dead, unlike them. I am especially concerned to see that you are saying all of this while also working as a psychologist.

Despite the fact that you claim that you are not putting yourself on a pedestal, you kind of are. You are positioning yourself as being above others, referring to those around you as "brain-dead robots" while claiming that almost everyone is the same.

I can relate but, to be fair, isn't that most people's way of dealing with bullshit? Just turn off their brains, letting them be controlled through most of their lives, just so the pain of realizing we are living in a shit world that constantly uses people as resources is not felt.

And then there's the people that can actually recognize the shitshow: sad, depressed, and unwilling to live (As anyone rational would, unless they had a fuckton of willpower)

I'm not saying they are right, but there is some method to their madness.

You misunderstood the point of my post, and that's ok I guess. I don't view myself as highly, I just view myself as aware. If you fail to see how much people lack critical thinking skills in this society, I honestly have no comment on that...

And I'm not yet working as a psychologist lol, I'm yet to go to uni.

Best of luck with whatever problems you're dealing with. ❤️

I tend to agree. The only things we get worked up about are superficial, or just one part of a much larger more complex issue. We let ourselves get led around by politicians and corporations who prey on our selfishness and laziness.

I don't really see it as a coping mechanism, I see it as a result of evil people in power that don't have our best interests in mind. I'm not entirely blaming society I'm mostly blaming our really shitty governments, and people in power. ❤️

Oh, don't get me wrong, the ones in power are doing that fuckery with all the will and knowledge in the world! I'm talking about the little people, the masses, the lower classes, the ones subject to this. Those are the ones that choose to just go with the flow, cause it's the least painful way. We try going against it, and it's clear how much pain we feel doing it, and the ones in power want this, they want to hurt those who go against them. That's how the keep themselves in power.

i'd say that i'm 100% immune. even my internal monologue transcended human languages some time ago.
I don't think it's impossible to be 100% immune, just very very very rare. I can't tell if this is a joke or a straight up lie cus I'm autistic. But if it's not that's amazing haha

I understand your frustration. But from the way I see life, it couldn't be any different. Anyone who is alive is subject to the same rules imposed by life, even if it seems otherwise. Discarding physical anomalies, all bodies have the same organs and functions. The brain is the same, etc. People can't do much about it. Living is a repetition, only broken by the illusion that we ourselves create. This illusion can be translated as anything, including mental abilities such as "intelligence", etc. Life is an accident and we are here for nothing. There is no purpose. We are born to die. What happens during these two extremes is of no importance to this system that arose by accident.

I have a little trouble interpreting stuff like this but I think I know what you mean. I personally just don't get how people can look at religion, society, politics and think its all normal and how it should be. The ones at the top literally made it all up as a means to control groups of people. Especially religion, I don't think I have any grudges against religious people, but holy shit how can you even believe that, I guess its just drilled into the persons brain as soon as they are intelligible but I really really cant understand how people believe it. And then politics its just constant arguing against left and right and how much better one side is when the side they support cares nothing for them, political parties are only there to control, and presidents see us as nothing but cannon fodder when shit goes south. Sorry if this doesn't make sense, I don't get my thoughts across that well, just my 2 cents.

I have a tendency to lump ppl, particularly religious ones into the you-don't-exist group. They are so insufferable with the divine purpose and make children bullshit. I just can't. They're always going on and on about putting children on this Earth and population collapse. The "do you want people to go extinct?!" I know they're stupid bc if they weren't then they would've gotten the implication that I don't care what happens to humanity. They quite literally follow a book of mystical origins and take it at face value.

If there's one thing I'd never be, it's being that slow. I'm sorry if I think I'm better than them, but I most certainly am.

I stand by the fact, those proselytizing fools hindered and continue to hinder humanity's progress. Da vinci's clandestine dissections to learn about the body which was forbidden by the church. His notes surviving to this day is the reason we know he was a genius. Let's take a moment to think how much religion held the world back from his innovation.

I totally agree with you. Most people just follow others and are too afraid to do anything that would be considered politically incorrect. Clearly people are even willing to poison themselves because they've been brainwashed to think it's good for them. It makes me sad for them, even though I'm sure they don't think there's anything wrong with them. I am trying to be more tolerant to other people's beliefs though, I know a lot of nice people who I don't agree with - and who's to say what I believe is right? I know I'm at least a little bit crazy so my take on reality could be way off. And honestly, I think there are powers that be that want us to fight over trivial thinks like politics and being a liberal vs. Republican. I used to care more about that stuff and now I just mostly want to be left alone in peace. I've mostly disengaged from the world.

I think the religious stuff is about hope and community. You can be religious and not believe everything about that religion. I believe in Jesus but I know the Catholic church is corrupt and altered Jesus's teachings to align with their agenda. But going to church is comforting and believing in a loving God makes me feel more hopeful.

I agree with your comment. The current system or whatever society we have right now doesn't propagate "free thinkers" try surviving like artist or something along those lines. It's difficult unless you are from a rich background. Maybe even freedom to express it's there but not encouraged in a way.

I think people do know, but there is little to gain. But definitely thinking we are above others is not the right place to start this. It's a really complex discussion that might seem rather silly. Our individuality is shaped by the environment we grow in, but that kinda scissor fit is absent Our individual strengths aren't nurtured properly if it doesn't fit into the usual cookie cutter shape, whatever that is. We are raised to conform than be a rebel
