Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

"Kobayashi Maru":
Dying animal outside. Circle of life. Walk away, and let it suffer all night, or put it out of its misery? Choice made. Got called a "bad guy" for it, which was the inevitable outcome, either way. A "no-win" situation.

I've never done anything like that before, and feeling some kind of way about it. It was a difficult choice for me, and I took no pleasure in it. But it put a whole new perspective on my own mortality by my own hand.

Posted this short note before, I think it has the same vibe:

Once the public witnessed a car go off the highway and roll. People stopped and ran to help, but the car burst into flames and there was no way to get them out. The bystanders listened to the screams and asked if anyone had a gun to put them out of their misery.

Society has an unreasoning bias against the CHOICE to end one's own suffering.
