Dumb little thread that I'm making anyway since it might also help others
I was talking with my father about potentially installing an AC considering the summers we've had for the past few years
At some point, he was telling me about the maintenance it'd require and stuff, internally, I thought to myself "great, another thing we'll need to take of/do yearly" since we're on a streak of stuff breaking down (electronics, car parts etc) then I remembered that I won't have to deal with that shit soon enough
It was enough to make me go from irritated to calmer than I originally was within seconds
I should try to think about that whenever some bullshit gets thrown my way
I know, it's such a selfish thought...but I'm usually the kind of guy who tries to help people around me in small ways so I'm allowing myself to at least be selfish for stuff like that
