Which is more frightening, jumping from a building or drowning?

"The building is about 20 stories high.

Is anyone else thinking about these two options?"

The initial step of going into the water seems easier, but I've heard the suffering afterward can be intense. As for jumping from a building, the attempt itself is difficult—it's hard to take that first step."

I think jumping 20 stories would be scary AF! I survived 8 stories and am broken and traumatised.

I have considered jumping from a bridge into water. My worry is jumping and then drowning.

I'm tempted to say I fear drowning more but then- I've experienced that feeling of running out of air underwater more than falling from height. I imagine both are terrifying though.

I believe drowning would be worse, as the sensation of being trapped would be agonizing. But easier to attempt as initially less scary.

Jumping might bring more nerves, but the few seconds falling, there's no turning back seems somewhat freeing, and the adrenaline rush would be intense. Probably harder to attempt, initially more scary but less agony.

I would rather attempt jumping because I'd prefer scary over agony. And I just think like an adrenaline junky and that helps get over part of the scariness of jumping.

I think the jumping is less scary because you have a good chance of instant death
