Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

@Journeytoletgo i hate to be this blunt, but just stop drinking then. I had a great example of why not to drink in my mom. Never drank more than a sip. But even if you're going to get the shakes if you don't drink, just going to have to deal with the dt's until it's out of your system.
Alcohol is something you have to actively seek out/purchase. It's like the person trying to lose weight who stops at McDonald's on the way home. They went there - no one forced them.
As far as waiting for marriage - idk what to tell you. Some people never get married, some people enjoy the intimacy of sex. Again, at least going forward, you can make the choices that will work the best for you.

I am lucky that I was never vulnerable to alcoholism. When I drank it was an unpleasant experience, which demotivated me from trying it again. I hate the taste so much, that's reason enough for me to keep away from it. But it's all luck, how much you like it or dislike it.

I tried a little once and the smell+taste alone made me almost puke. I genuinely, honestly don't know how people drink it or worse, get addicted to it. It's as off-putting as the smell of cigarette smoke to me (so I guess I have the same question about that too). I honestly WANT to get stone-drunk to forget my depression but physically can't.

Some people are social drinkers only doing it for nights out and weekends. Some are more prone to addiction if they went through a severe trauma they didn't learn healthy coping techniques to overcome the pain.
That's interesting. Some use cigarettes to cope with pain of living. I honestly don't know how ppl get hooked for that. I get hooked on drinks never was introduced to smoking the people I was around drank and knew of sex.
You maybe onto something here. I suppose it needs conditioning and acclimatisation for a while before your body is able to tolerate alcohol/smoking.
Probably applies to other things too. For the first like 28 years of my life, I'd never had meat nor had I been with someone who ate meat. The first time I had some by mistake (delivery order got mixed up w someone else's), I ended up having the same gag reaction for a while. But then I moved cities and started living with a roommate who ate meat and the next time (years later) my orders got mixed up again, I was able to tolerate it and even kinda liked it. I still don't eat meat but wouldn't mind having it now. If meat was addictive and had mind-numbing qualities, I might've even become addicted to it lol.
