• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I haven't been able to find a job in over 6 months and have become a burden to my family. No one is hiring in my stupid little town, and I have 0 useful skills, something pathetic for me at my age. I feel like it would be best if I just disappeared, Especially with the economic future of my country looking so bleak. Even if I got a job, I wouldn't find anything good, and women at my age aren't interested in men with shit jobs that can't support families.

I just needed to vent. I don't care if anyone sees this.

Are there any skills you would want to learn?

If you're doing all you reasonably can to find work then you don't have to blame yourself though it's understandable to feel that way especially if you're getting heat from your fanily. Productive participation in society is a two-way street after all.

I have a few skills I'd like to learn, but doing so in earnest requires money to pay for a trade school, or lucking out on an apprenticeship (no trade jobs in my town are accepting new apprentices) which puts me back at square one. I'm not getting heat from my family, they're understanding, but in the end, I still feel the way I do.

Having a job sucks. It doesn't make life better. And who cares what women are interested in. If you meet a good woman who cares about you, she won't care if you're down on your luck. And you aren't going to meet her anyway because she doesn't exist

That's not what you say to someone suffering from being unemployed. Who cares what women are interested in? Someone who wants to be in a relationship with one should! Being unemployed will generally be a turn-off to someone looking for a partner.

Hmm. Well if continuing to look seems to give you slim odds of finding a job, giving up completely gives you even less odds at 0. Eventually you overwhelm the numbers game enough and you get something for the time being.
