Because they won't have the effect you're looking for to ctb. They used to use barbituates (like Nembutal) as sleeping pills, which are reliably fatal in ODs. Now they mostly use benzos and z-drugs, or something else that's not fatal even in an extreme OD scenario. There's a reason everyone here isn't ctbing with sleeping pills. If there was a reliable and peaceful death available to us, like sleeping pills, most of us would go that way without question.
