Yes, a lot of people find that if they know they can depart fairly easily, it makes them feel better. Probably bcause they are more in control of their own destiny. It actually reduces the chance that they will ctb.

I always keep a noose and slipknot under my pillow for the same reason, it's comforting.

I don't want to upset you, but you can't know for sure whether you can do KTB or not. It's quite a difficult task. I thought the same before buying a shotgun, but I can't use it. I love my shotgun and at the same time I hate it. Now I'm waiting for my SN, these 2 methods are completely different. I'm ready to suffer before death, but the main thing is that it eventually takes me and puts an end to my suffering

me too! it's hard to explain to people outside this forum but it gives me peace of mind and improves my quality of life.
