It must be a scary feeling wanting to live

in such a life. Where life is always challenged and threatened. It must be a terrifying feeling. Fighting to live, needing to live in such a life. Knowing you die. The body fights to stay alive. Knowing itll die. It still fights and grasps at whatever to stay just a little while longer. And its something we have no control over. Other than to seem unconcious. But you are alive until you arent. So how do we know? that We arent there to experience it.

A friend of my Dad's was so fearful of his own death, I used to think- well, ar least I don't have that to worry about. Or at least, not to the same extent. It must be distressing in a way to love life and witness it slipping away.
