I don't own a gun but I'm sure I can get one fairly easily but even then if it really gets to that point I'll find a way. Knowing I can get out of this hellhole whenever I want it's a comforting feeling.

Totally, you finally feel in control and enabled to be pro-choice rather than controlled by society. I'd place bets that a decent portion of people are at lower risk of CTB when they acquire the means earlier on rather than later on or not at all - sounds silly but in my experience what we crave is that control and being at peace with ourselves on our own terms.
