What kind of information would you be looking for? There's not much to it, train hits head -> bada bing bada boom.

You can try to ctb at platform 9 and 3 quarters.

The train method is somewhat unpopular on this site because of the likelihood of traumatizing the driver and/or passengers but the simple solution to that is to make sure the train you plan to have take your life is being driven by someone who you know for sure you wouldn't care about traumatizing. If that sounds like too much work, you should probably just find a different method then. You wanna at least do enough research to know when the train is coming or if a track even gets any train coming at all or else it might just be an abandoned track and you're gonna be stuck waiting for hours if not days.

Someone I know husband took his life this way.

She had to identify what was an extremely mutilated body.

Benefits: quick, and therefore I cant imagine too painful given the speed
Downsides: Violent, far more traumatising for those you leave. Even if you think there's no one that cares about you, those than find you will be scarred

Plus plenty of gore vids out there of failed attempts using this method.

Terrible method and inconsiderate. I was on a crowded night train in Germany, hoping to wake up to transfer to a short train ride home. At about 1:30am I was awoken by the train coming to a stop. About an hour later someone pounded on all the doors saying we must get off the train. We got all of our stuff on the platform and waited for another train which was full and crammed onto it. Didn't sleep at all. It pulled into a station far from home early am. Anyway this was all caused by someone choosing our train to ctb.

A friend of mine with my illnesses strapped herself to a train track. I couldn't imagine a bigger "I want to die" message until I joined here yesterday and read someone on here planning to overdose on fentanyl and jump off a bridge.

I think that someone must be really desperate to ctb by train, it sounds like a horrible way to go. Just the thought of it, is terrifying. I believe that people deserve to exit peacefully at a time of their own choosing, nobody should have to resort to traumatic methods to end their suffering.
