Train tracks near my house

I walk over a bridge with train tracks whenever I walk home from work. It has been crossing my mind for the past few weeks to jump

The bridge seems high enough and I've been working afternoons lately. Right around the time the train passes by. Wish me luck and I'm going to be thrilled dying in my work uniform. I'm so done with everything

I've personally been thinking of throwing in the towel, going to the beach, then flying all the way back home to jump off a massive parking garage or even to buy a shotgun again and perform the deed in a cheap motel from my childhood.

We both seem to be done with everything, maybe I should die in my uniform too.

I have train tracks that run along the side of the park behind my house. I've often thought of walking on them in whatever direction I know the next train is coming (or maybe the other way so that I can't see it).

Be careful though, if you choose this kind of out. I'm sure you've read many times about the dangers of "survival" and being worse off than you are now. Much worse. Also, life isn't so bad if you try thinking about it philosophically. What does it really mean? Why? Not in the sens of a god (unless that's your gig) but int he sense of discovery that people have been searching for, for thousands of years. We really should be here for a reason and I'd sure as hell buy the book if I could figure it out.

Please don't attempt this way. You'll traumatize the train driver! Also people who fail this type of method end up in such bad situations!

It sounds like you are considering combining a low altitude fall (which people can survive) with getting hit by a train, but your body may not land exactly on the tracks or entirely on the tracks.

Please reconsider. This isn't about being pro-life, it's about being anti-disability and winding up in a situation where any effort to end one's life becomes harder or impossible due to a prior botched attempt.
