I was looking for sodium nitrite and some are listed as having a molecular formula of NNaO2. Will NNaO2 sodium nitrite work the same as NaNO2 sodium nitrite?

To my chemical knowledge, that would just be a wrong notation for NaNO2, so if it's labelled as sodium nitrite, it's probably NaNO2 that they mean. Personally, I wouldn't trust a shop that lists it like that as it just seems like they know close to nothing about chemistry because the notation for salts is a pretty basic thing. If you want me to take a look at the store, you can always DM me the link and I'll be happy to help.

I was able to order some from a laboratory supplier but haven't received it yet. Where can I find the molecular formula on the safety data sheet to check?

I've seen it listed both ways on websites. I believe they are the same.
