Is SN allowed on a plane?

I will get SN and stuff soon. I'm planning to go back to college in New York next semester. Right now, I have fully online classes, but I know for sure that my college will offer all in-person classes next semester. So, I wonder if SN is allowed on a plane? If so, should I put it in a carry-on bag or checked bag? I don't want to risk putting SN in my checked bag as they may be suspected and seize it without my knowledge. Would it be more suspicious if I carry it in my carry-on bag instead of carrying it in my checked bag? If I'm being questioned about SN, what should I say?

Or... should I just toss SN and buy a new one?

Don't carry it on your carry on. They will think it's coke or some drug. Take my advice as I worked in the airline industry. Better wrap it around your waist.

They won't gonna think it is coke cause the texture of coke and SN is very different. If it is coke, dogs will be able to detect it.

First of all, they won't know about the consistency until they open it, and by that point their suspicions will already be raised, even if they have dogs that don't flag it. They will still probably think it's highly likely to be something prohibited that they've not previously encountered.

I would avoid taking this on a plane or in hold luggage.

Just send it in the post, OP. Or just buy some more. If you're in America isnt it available in Walmart and places like that?

I would put it in your checked bag, at worst they'll confiscate it. I was planning on bringing mine to the UK because I know it's illegal to buy there.

That is relieving to hear, but keep in mind that some TSA agents may say one thing and another may not necessarily agree with it. Another idea, like @SNOB said is to post it (mail it) to your new place or PO Box in around the area where you going to be residing and studying at (in NY).

Alternatively, if you have a vehicle (I don't know your situation and apologize if this is a wrong assumption), perhaps it is possible to transport it that way? I know it is a chore to drive from the West coast to the East coast, but this way it avoids TSA and customs, I would only make sure that you follow all traffic rules (don't drive too fast, don't drive recklessly, follow all road signs, etc.) and if stopped for any reason, cooperate but don't willingly volunteer information (e.g. consenting to a search).
