Is morphine overdose noisy?

Hi, I've got some (drinkable) liquid morphine I'm considering overdosing on... I'm so exhausted I think I'd like to do it in my room in my flat, perhaps with some soothing white noise playing in the background to help keep me calm :)
My concern is that I might be noisy enough to alert flatmates... hence my question: am I likely to make noise once I've ODed?
Also, is there anything a person can do to make the morphine more effective, such as fasting for a day? I don't want to fail...
