Help Is CTB via jumping 6 floors a good idea?

I have heard jumping is a bad idea. It can leave you crippled, paralyzed, with brain damage, etc. But I live in an urban area and have access to the roof of a 6 story tall parking garage. The floor I'd land on would be completely concrete. I'm fairly certain this has an extremely high fatality rate, especially if I try to not land on my legs and rather on the head or back. This jump would be my preferred way to ctb considering it is incredibly easy to access (I've already been up there), and falling would be fun. Is this a bad idea?

that's a 10% - 30% chance of crawling away with permanent crippling disabilities. we've had multiple people on this forum who have jumped from higher and survived. don't do it.

I won't risk it. It's not 100% guarantee and if you survive it might live you paralyzed. Also I don't know if you can coordinate yourself that good mid air to be sure you don't land on your legs.

I simply don't know another way that is going to be accessible and has a higher rate of success. No firearms available. Getting drugs seems very complicated and dangerous if the people i live with find out. Any suggestions let me know

I think something going wrong and getting paralyzed is a much worse fate than the death itself so I think this isn't actually a good idea.

Disclaimer that I can't say whether killing yourself is a good choice or not.

When I was suicidal, jumping was my preferred method. The spot I had picked out was maybe 6 to 8 floors up depending on how you counted in the parking deck, but those were tall floors and it was at least 100 feet drop onto pavement. I remember 100 feet being the goal for a minimum drop to have a high (not guaranteed) chance of success, and obviously landing on pavement is better than something soft.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is surprisingly not a very common method at all! I've heard almost nothing about it, but after some research it looks genuinely easy and painless which are some things most people look for in a cbt method.

Not common for a reason. It's not easy to get it to work. A week or so ago a member posted that they tried & tried & tried with it & finally gave up.

Maybe it was the temp of the water? Pearl posted about the temp of the water affecting it. I heard Lukewarm water does best IIRC. Although I suggest you find her post on it :-)

Idk. I think because it seems more straightforward than it actually is, but I wish you luck with it .

What makes it so difficult is that carbon dioxide builds up a lot even when you hyperventilate which causes pain. If you have a lot of motivation it is doable but the pain may not be worth it.

This is my method, but pulling the trigger is not easy because of SI.

6 stories is definitely a gamble. Depends if you land on your head. If you fail you'll be disabled for life. Up to you if you want to take that risk but it would be better to find a higher place if you are serious about CTB.

SWB is too good to be true. I've seen threads of people trying it and nothing happened. Maybe it can work for some people idk.
