Is being alive really living?

I'm alive because I open my eyes everyday.
I'm alive because I wake up, eat and move around.
I'm alive according to my doctor.
I'm alive because I'm still breathing.

Although, I gotta say that being alive is not really living.

Living, in my opinion, is understanding why the hell we're here and not having to deal with depression, bipolar disorder or any mental/physical illness everyday.

I'm alive because I have a name, an ID card and a bank account.
I'm alive because that's what people call to this ridiculous "fuel" which makes you be able to walk around.
I'm alive just like everybody else.
I'm alive although I'm dead most of the time.


I'm alive but, am I really living?

Not at all bro in my eyes. Being alive and living are two totally different things. I am alive, I haven't been living for a long time. I am dead inside, I am a shell of a person. I am alive because this fucking universe put me here without my permission and I haven't been able to take myself out of it yet unfortunately.

I know how you feel. I feel like I have already died but I am still breathing and conscious. My mind and body are tired and I feel so old even know I am young. Since I am denied an peaceful way out I feel trapped in this existence, my soul needs to be set free. Life is the most pointless thing ever.

Life is endlessly suffering but finding copes to distract you from your suffering while everyone slowly dies. I'd only call it living if you couldn't die and couldn't suffer in life. I have no idea how we're supposed to do this for 80-90 more years tbh. I'm not even remotely close to 40 and I'm already dead inside lol
