Inhaling sodium nitrite and stuff

A few days ago I bought sodium nitrite, mixing it with water, I understood that it was functional.
The problem is that I accidentally inhaled it and I couldn't consume it with water... I find myself with respiratory symptoms and body aches, and headache...
Does anyone know how long the effects last?
I tried to go to the doctor, but I can't.

Now I'm passing them off as cough and flu symptoms at home.

Yeah, how did you inhale it? Were you pouring the powder into a cup and it dusted up and got into your mouth? Or did you mix the mixture and then breath in through your mouth? Nose? How did you accidentally inhale it?

He was sitting up in bed and trying to put it in a glass. my mom has cats and they are very annoying... from there I almost fell and fell on my face...
