I am such a big atheist.. I believe this is all there is and when I die there is no peace or anything for that matter.. it's making ctb even harder to do.. I absolutely hate this.. I keep drifting and dragging my feet everyday.. it just needs to end.

So am I use to believe but I just can't act like I do anymore . I think there is nothing after death but I can understand why it might make it harder to ctb.
As part of the atheist club, I'm not sure why this poses a problem. For me nothing is peace just like going to sleep. As I expect absolutely nothing there is nothing to fear as opposed to the hell that awaits those that commit the sin of suicide complements of the all loving god I was taught about.

The thought of nothingness is comforting to me personally. I believe it to be like how before I was born, where time passed and yet I was not aware of anything. We were all perfectly fine not existing until we were forced to live. I understand wanting everything to end. Living really is so painful and I see no point to it all. To me, death is the end of all suffering and it is all that I look forward to.

All you can remember is when you were born. You can't remember before you were born.. thus is your point but that isn't comforting to me. I wish I could take comfort in that but I really don't.. I think you got to be a little delusional to take comfort in that.. but to each is own.. I just want the pain of existing to end.. it's unbearable for me at the moment..
I myself am an atheist. When I was younger I use to feel like I was nothing so becoming nothing instead of experiancing being nothing was no problem for me. Now it's one of the things that give me pause when wanting to ctb. The mind can't comprehend just becoming nothing even though that's what we were before we were born.
I of course can't disprove god, but he's playing an excellent game of hide and seek. Should I find him though, I certainly would not worship him. I have mostly contempt for any agent who decided this nightmare would be a good idea to create.

I could never believe that there is truly an almighty being that would allow the suffering that we have all endured. That 'free will' crap doesn't cut it with me either. No "loving" god would possibly let his people suffer so.
Especially the things that are done to children.
