Thanks for posting this. I am better too. My wish is that nobody on this forum chooses to ctb but I respect everyone's choice and the right to bodily autonomy. Months ago, there was goodbye thread of a young adult who still lived with her parents. She said she was going to hang herself when her family went to church. She said that her family was trying to get her to go to church that day and she kept saying no. She said she just wanted her family to leave for church so she could do it. I'm still haunted by that thread. I think of her family coming home and finding her hanging and how traumatic that must have been. I've never posted this on this forum and I did not reply to the thread in question at the time.

I hope for everyone here to have peace no matter what. May she rest in peace. I'm not so suicidal and have a calling I think to help others, hopefully for them to choose life but I get that desire to not and I believe in body autonomy too!

We're just people here, mostly just a bunch of suicidal people. Peers. We're not trained in how to support someone in crisis who wants to kill themself. Nor are we trained in crisis support for ourselves when someone kills themself. That's some very special training needed to manage being on this site. And because we're suicidal, were particularly vulnerable because we're in crisis ourselves. So it's a very imperfect situation we're all in here on the forum. In light of this, the fact that we can feel compassion and respect for eachother is really remarkably beautiful.

I'm doing fine but I truly get this world more. I'm still hopeful but if you're not, that's fine.
I also talked to a suicidal person on SoundCloud and panicked.

I'm not saying whether or not we should be trained. Nor did I say how we should be trained. I'm just saying we're not trained. That's what peer support means.

I feel mostly sad for the people who are desperate and struggling, they want to ctb but they can't do it. The people who have wanted to ctb and they succeeded, I'm happy for them, they got release after all the suffering.

I am for life and my wish also is for everyone to live. It's not because of my username (though, I love my love ♡), but because I really, truly, thoroughly mean it. I want everyone alive and well.

It hurts me to my core that so many people are in such pain; and undoubtedly in greater pain than myself. When I am in church, when I pray, sometimes it strikes me: I'm praying for people more than I could ever count. When I meet someone new, or see a stranger doing something of observation, I think similarly; hey, I was praying for and thinking of you.
I have prayed for all of you who were and are and will be here without ever knowing. That's quite amazing to me.
Anyway, I am always cheering for you to choose life. I'm not legal, spiritual, or even emotional counsel, but I feel very much and very deeply for everyone. I want to hear your thoughts and opinions. Tell me about your story. Tell me your dreams. Let's work on life together, if you'll allow it.
