Were you hospitalized or have some paperwork of psychiatric problems?

Probably 10 years? That's how it works with cops so Im assuming it also applies to guns. They dont hire suicidal people unless it was like a while since their last attempt. If you got the money and resources for it I recommend 3D printing one and buy the bullet from someone it's not as hard as buying a gun.

I am not a legal person or lawyer but I know from watching and reading about this, if you live in US and have psychiatric record or anything in there about your ctb they check that when applying for a weapon license. So No you will not get a gun anytime soon , (legally). That all I can say about that. Hope this helps answer part of your question anyway.

I was recently 5150'ed. It will take 5 years. If you were at a mental hospital for more than 3 days, 10 years :/

I do not know where you are, but in the U.S. gun laws are different in all 50 states, so you would have to check your state's specific law.

Why not go with inert gas? The cost of everything you need to assemble a 3D gun would be around the same as inert gas+accessories.

So I'd have to wait till 2032....

I'm to stupid and clumsy. Plus that all sounds like to much work.

I live in California unfortunately...

and

as for the bullet any gun store should do. No license required for ammo that is not "dangerous" im pretty sure.

Edit: 3d printing a gun is legal idk how but yeh it is. You only piss off the feds when u try to sell it.

This is a video of 3d printed Beretta M9 Handgun which is also on that website:

It depends on the state in USA. I got voluntarily committed as a kid for a suicide attempt, in the state I was living in at the time any sort of psychiatric hospitalization (voluntary or involuntary) completely canceled out legal firearms purchases for the rest of your life, I moved states and in my current one only the federal rules are enforced (only a court proceeding with court-ordered involuntary commitment counts). So theoretically you could buy a gun the same hour you get discharged from the hospital.
