• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I am totally on my own. I have been trying to get a job while dealing with extreme depression and anxiety. I most likely have level 1 autism spectrum disorder, on top of everything else. The gmail account I had created and had been using to log in to job listing websites was disabled and I was waiting for responses from employers. I am really running out of money and time. I just need so much help in so many ways and I don't know who to turn to or where to go or what to do. I am in over my head. I live in NYC.

There is a misconception that mental hospitals are supposed to make people feel better.

It is false. The point is to keep people in a monitored place until staff believes they are no longer a danger to themselves or others.

They can also link you with resources yes, but the resources are often dogshit. They don't care about what's best for the patient. They will just put you on a random medication and refer you to whoever needs money. At least, this has been my experience.

imo it would be a total waste of time and money, mental hospitals should not exist. Only go if you think you will CTB and don't want to. But it will be costly especially if you're in NYC.
