So I'm going beachy head tomorrow and I've reserved a hotel! Partly because if I can't cbt during the daytime then I'll try again at night time. But I have to take my hotel keys with me and my stuff with me which I plan to leave on top of the cliff, weighed down, just a couple metres from where I'll hop off.

Because if I don't manage to ctb at night and I've left my hotel room key in then I can't get back in and I don't fancy being fined for leaving my key in my room, and also I don't want my family (mother) to deal with me taking the key (just in case they dont look through my bag and don't return the key back to the hotel. And since nobody will be in the reception at night I can't say hey im really worried i'll lose the key can I leave it at reception because nobody will be there when I come back???

Do I just stuff it in an obvious space in my bag and pray to whatever no god up there is that the police finds it and returns it to the hotel?

I mean, this is really only if I manage to jump or else I'll stuff my clothes with rocks and bloody drown in the beach (5% chance of happening).

If I don't ctb then atleast I had a nice one night stay in sussex and had a hotel room by the beach.

Also does anyone know the law/rule regarding debt?? I'm only leaving maybe £50 worth of debt on my credit card after the hotel stay, and my family will have to pay for the rest of my uni accommodation (£670~). because I'll only leave around £300 pounds worth of money...

So if you're just leaving them on the edge of the cliff, then there's a good chance that if there's like a police investigation or something, they'll get returned.

If not then... oh well???

I guess you could put a note in your bag asking the Police to return it. Regarding debt, your family are not responsible for any debt in your name. If you have any assets at the time of your debt, such as money in the bank, the debt would have to be repaid before any assets could be shared with next of kin
