For the longest time I've been waiting for a bike again...

But it's money and cost that makes me think, to get anywhere wth anything you need money...

Then I thought... - 'what about for the love of doing the thing itself' ... And I thought, maybe I should do something in this life that brings small joy even if it costs...

But the thing is... Having a powered bike... And coming off
.....

High speed...

Isn't that a method? Like, an instant one?

Wat am I doing, enjoying myself... Or giving myself a method...

It's been a long, taxing, tiring, sad and lonely Xmas and I crave some togetherness... My partner is having issues with that mental effort and aches all the running around takes...

How do I make everyone happy?! Wen they don't really know it seems? With family who are addicted to complaining and isolating...

Help?!

Happy new year SaSu 🌲 🎇

X

Well... If you have issues with money, start saving some. You could have multiple different saves you collect your money into. For example if you get 100 euros each week, you could save 20 euros for bike, another 20 for long term save (which you keep for year or couple), etc. Food may seem bit expensive sometimes, but it's manageable to cut down for 20-30 euro per week (I personally eat a lots of eggs, rice, cabbage, carrots, potatoes, etc. The most expensive item I usually get is black tea.).

Edit: Oops, I thought you meant a bike.

seems highly inefficient, especially if you dont already own one. while rare, its not necessarily impossible to survive a high-speed crash on a motorbike and be left handicapped at best; or a conscious vegetable at worst.

Risk is high at speed
I get the appeal. I have a motorcycle but it's in storage so I can't ride it unfortunately.

I did a thread on this a while ago:
Not the only one. I love bikes.. but yeah... It's a scenario/equation that's come together for me

two people close to me survived crazy motorcycle accidents. one person went blind in recovery bc their brain said nope. they regained sight but mobility was compromised.

the other had their back reconstructed and I imagine they are not doing well as they age.

IMO it's an unreliable method even with perfect circumstances.

to OP, your choices are your own. we're here for you regardless.🤍🤍🫂🫂
