i shouldve just stayed curious

the fact that he chose to leave the moment light finally reached what he had kept in the dark
blocking me without a word
is what really breaks my heart..

he knew me
my vulnerabilities and weaknesses
my heart inside and out

yet he still found it in himself to leave me in such a way

4 years
4 years of growing older together
4 years of breaking and building together
4 years of us, together, all alone

for what?
for him to chew me, taste me, swallow me, then just throw me up? really?

couldnt you just have stayed?
