The uncertainty of death is the only thing that's stopping me. If I just knew the straight answer 'there's no hell and you won't feel anything' for when I die I would feel much more at peace with just doing it with any method possible. Even a painful one. I just want to know what death is like...

Well, I won't tell you some mumbo jumbo fairy tale based on magic.
But, death I can describe it perfectly as a DREAMLESS SLEEP.
Do you remember what you felt while you had a dreamless sleep? No.
Or another example is: what you felt before you were born.
Do you remember that?
Well that is the feeling of being dead.
