Long story short, my social worker kept bugging me to ''go out and do stuff'', which i said I'd happily do if he can help me find something where i'd meet people my age and maybe even in my interest groups.
Here's his amazing findings ! Keep in mind im a 25yo white baguette dude with no handicap, learning disability and don't have a faci- covid passport.

1: Reading Club (50YO and up, covid passport required.)
2: The ''brain brawling'' (50yo and up, covid passport required)
3:Some sort of impossible to translate food thing (all meals described are shit i hate lol)
4: Physical Therapy (picture show small children installations, costs money)
5: Basic french lessons
6: Formation on immigration status (covid passport required)

Oh boi ! I can't wait to go to such amazing things as ''LITERALLY CANNOT EVEN APPLY'' and ''I CANT JOIN EVEN IF I WANTED TO GO THERE'' oh wow, man, i'd really need to be a fucking looser who literally refuses to do any effort whatsoever to not go to these prime opportunities that are extremely relevant, interesting and available for someone like me. I'm sure i'd meet other 18-35yo people just like me there, oh man, i'd so make friends and maybe even get a partner at a 50yo and up reading club i can't even attend ! Man, my social worker sure is a competent, intelligent man and his field of expertise isnt at all a fucking scam made by pseudo intellectuals who werent good enough to go to the elite pseudo intellectual bullshiety that is proper psycology.

You're so quick-witted and your remarks in chat have often left me in stitches despite me suffering from crippling depression and never thinking it was possible for a person like me to laugh ever again. Someone as intelligent and creative as you are shouldn't be relegated to a freaking 50+ book club where all the old ladies are probably just going to be gushing about erotic novels cheaper than any AO3 fan fiction.

It sounds like he's just throwing darts at the wall. Not even considering where you personally might fit in best, just throwing out random activities and crossing his fingers that you'll fit in somewhere.

My mom does the same thing. She'll tell me to "go out and socialize" and I'm like, "where?" and she doesn't have a clue. The brutal truth is that most networking opportunities were in high school and college, and people who haven't found their footing by their mid-to-late 20's, are going to have to scrape the bottom of the barrel to find people who haven't already established a network (like the lost and lonely souls here on SS).
