Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I keep thinking about my mom reading my note with the instructions/map on the location of my body in the forest. Then having to awkwardly relay this information to the 911 operator.

Then on the other hand, if my mom sees my dead body… she would be awkwardly waiting for the police to arrive while I just lay there dead.

I don't know what's worse… can anyone give me their opinion?

If you're that concerned about your mother, perhaps it's better if you wait? At least until you can leave peacefully when she's no longer available.

I had the same problem then i decided to wait until she is gone. I just can't hurt her. She was always good to me and making her bury me would kill her.

The point is I don't want to be more cruel than I need to be. I'm going to CTB anyways.

Either situation would be very sad for a mother, but since you've made your decision, do it in the forest... if it happens at home, your mother will always have to live with that image right there in the house; the forest seems less awful to me, and that's what I would do! 🤷🏻‍♀️🤞🍀

I think the property value of the house might go down? Maybe you could schedule an email to the police if you do it in the forest?

I won't try to convince you either way. I will say that, I think it will be slightly less traumatic for mom if you have a note she has to find instead of a body. Both are awful either way, but one is less than the other in my mind... Hope you can find peace when you decide

I thought about that, but then questioned how long it would take them to get to reading the email…

For my local police, they say that their email isn't monitored regularly. When I dealt with then to get a record check though, they were quick to reply. You could try emailing about something inconspicuous (like seeing a speeding car??) to guage the response time.

Alternatively, if you can set up macros on your phone, you could schedule a 911 call for when you're expected to already be gone. It would take a while, but your location would be found within a few hours.

So your saying I could just schedule a call to them? Like a call with a recording as well?

I'm on android, so thats where my info comes from.

With the MacroDroid app, I can schedule a call to be made when a calender event begins or at a specific time. It dials and rings for me, same as if I did it myself. Even if a 911 operator doesnt hear anyone on the other side, they still have to stay on the call. They'll assume you went unconscious after dialing and ping your phone to nearby cell towers to locate you.

I guess you could set it up to call, wait a few minutes, then end the call. An operator would then try calling you back (because what if youre in an emergency) and if you don't have it answer the call, they'd be sent to your voicemail. You could change your voicemail to have your location, but run the risk of someone else calling you and hearing the message before/during your attempt.
