• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I told my therapist I was researching how to kill myself (I didn't get to the point to tell him I had a concrete plan). He said I was just trying to gain "mastery" of something and spent half an hour telling me I should play my violin ten minutes a day. Problem solved.

Whatever. I give up. Told him I wanted to quit. He said "OK Best of luck to you." I swear for people who are supposed to be empathetic, my experience with therapists is that they are cold as fuck.

Even if they have empathy they can't really do anything for you outside of those 45 minutes. I'd consider yourself lucky that you weren't sectioned because most would do it without hesitation due to liability.

I had one in person therapist and four online therapists. The in person therapist was ok and would let me ramble for an hour and gave a little bit of feedback. I saw this therapist for several years and honestly never accomplished anything. She cared to a certain extent but when I stopped going it was like ok whatever.

My first online therapist was great and she challenged me tremendously and empathized with me. I accomplished quite a bit but she didn't believe everything going on in my life. This made it difficult to express how I felt without being challenged that I was wrong because XYZ isn't happening. The next three therapists were awful and I finally quit in June of last year.

I made sure he wouldn't before I told him. I have been sectioned three times so I know how it goes lol

I had a therapist I truly loved for three years, I thought she truly cared about me, then she gleefully terminated me without a second thought. I've had two since her and just couldn't connect.

That therapist sounds very useless and insensitive. It sounds like you did the right thing giving up on him. I wish you the best.

What a fucking retard, holy shit. Yet another instance that proves that "getting an education" is primarily about having grit/endurance, not talent at doing the deed. Psychology is particularly apt for lunatics and morons to monetize their precious time.

Theyre trash and are only in that spot to make money. They read a few books took a few tests all which arent justified because all peoples cases are unique.
They mean well but they dont want you to think your way
Why on else would they read all those books
