Does anybody else feel so much more relaxed and less stressed when the day finally comes to an end? I smoke a little hit of cannabis kush from a budbomb pipe and I go to sleep within an hour or so. I can't get access to sleeping pills anymore but I do take a melatonin capsule before bed as well. Sleeping is great, it's the waking up part that kills me. Hopefully death is just one long sleep cycle. I could deal with that :smiling:

Yes, that is understandable.
But if you use relaxing substances, you numb yourself and your sleep is not restful.

Actually that isn't accurate. Weed actually reduces the amount of REM, which means it reduces dreaming. Reducing REM helps promote a deeper sleep. Melatonin is a natural substance (that is already found in the body) that regulates sleeping as well. If anything, it is sleeping pills that are the most unnatural sleep aid. Although they did help me at times.

I enjoy the time after midnight. When everyone's asleep and there's just me, so I can be free. I absolutely hate waking up, it's like waking up to a nightmare everyday, except you can't actually wake up from it

I only enjoy time when I'm not awake. Every waking moment is honestly a nightmare (at varying degrees).

The last joint before going to sleep suits me, but it is also the time of day when I think about my situation the most and what I did that day, and I end up more sad. That moments when everything is in silent...they are magical.

I enjoy the sleeping part and not being conscious. Best part of my day. But getting to sleep is incredibly difficult for me. My mind won't shut off and it's a bit torturous. I've been taking sleeping pills lately which help, but then I'm also tired the next day. No clear solutions.

I love sleeping and it is what I look forward too. It is pretty similar to death. I have always been a night person, only my tinnitus can sometimes ruin things for me. Waking up is a very disappointing feeling as I know it will be another day of a pointless existence.

It is definitely worth trying meditation and autogenic training to fall asleep.
